Water - you know you should drink it, but...

As someone who considers myself a bit of a water snob, I'm addicted to good water. Yes, when you drink enough of it, you start to notice the subtle differences in taste between a Sparklettes, Arrowhead and Evian. And the reality is, water is one thing your body can't go without. You go live without food for an extended period of time, but without water you would die.

Back to reality, the case for water goes deep. "Structured" water is now what many holistic health specialists are talking about (like Shawn Stevenson of The #1 rated health podcast "The Model Health Show" did an entire masterclass on water and how to determine the best quality). But without going to deep, just making sure you get enough of it is what is truly important - to our health, your brain, and to your skin.  

So on this independence day, I wanted to share 3 infused water recipes to help you learn to LOVE your water and glow like mermaid, as any girlboss should.

1. LEMON & CUCUMBER WATER

This is my personal favorite. I discovered this magical combination (it doesn't sound like a lot but trust me, it's delicious). Just cut up a few organic lemons (peel and all) and organic cucumbers, and throw them in a good quality mountain spring water - and wallah! A yummy refreshment that actually gets better the longer it sits.

2. MINT & FROZEN BERRIES

This is perfect to spice up a party with some color. Just cut up some fresh mint, freeze some organic raspberries, strawberries, or blueberries and when you're ready, toss them into the water. It's a refreshing treat that looks great in a champagne glass too.

3. FRESH MINT MOJITOS (SUGAR FREE)

Ok lets' not be boring here. One drink won't kill anyone and on a hot summer day, you can still stay hydrated and healthy, even when hanging out with friends.
It just takes:

Fresh Lime
Fresh Mint
Sparkling Water
Ice
Liquid Stevia
Vodka (optional)

And that's it! Again, it's the glass that you serve it in and the company you keep that will be the perfect accessories to turn an ordinary drink into a healthy indulgence.

Remember, investing a little time and energy into your water may just be what you need to remember that investing in yourself is the answer to not only better, hydrated skin, but a better quality of life.
